Marilyn Fitterman & Sandy Rapp Lead Songs At National NOW Rally
On July 3, 2005, Feminist Majority President Ellie Smeal joined Past NOW-NYS President and current FFE Vice President, Marilyn Fitterman (far left) and Nashville singer Candace Corrigan (far right) in singing Sandy Rapp's (with guitar) "Where Were The Flowers: A Song For Becky Bell," about a teenager who fell to Indiana's anti-choice "parental involvement" laws.
The occasion was US Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor's resignation and the National NOW Rally For Abortion Rights. The setting was Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist's home state office in Tennessee.
